Introduction:

Soil tensiometer consists of a tensiometer tube, a pointer-type negative pressure meter and a ceramic head. Working principle：

When the acrylic tube is filled with water, the ceramic probe is wet and prevents outside air from entering the ceramic probe. When the water potential of the measured soil and the tensiometer there is a pressure difference, the water in the soil tensiometer penetrates into the measured soil until it reaches equilibrium, at which time the value shown on the pressure gauge is the soil water potential of the measured soil.
